AOC warning about spam e-mails October 8, 2018 A rogue outfit has sent spam e-mails falsely claiming to come from the Administrative Office of Courts and Mississippi Electronic Courts. The spam e-mail may include an attachment that carries a virus. Please do not open an e-mail attachment on any message that you think appears suspicious. The vague message in these e-mails includes this or similar language: “Please find attached invoice for services provided during August. We look forward to receiving payment at your earliest convenience.” The message then goes on to include an AOC or MEC staff person’s name and e-mail address and a series of phone numbers that are not AOC or MEC contact numbers.
